Speaking Out on Nate

Damnit!

Now that I have my breathing under control and the big shit eating grin on my face has subsided, primarily due to my children being pains in the ass, cookies indeed, I feel that I can write out this blog.  I woke up and discovered, much to my joy, excitment, and surprise that Seattlepolychick had nominated me for a Blog of the Year Award.  Thank you very much.  I know this is my third thank you to her.  In my defense, I believe in manners, and when someone does something nice for you, you should thank them.  Since she is in the far away land of Seattle, or at least her name implies Seattle (I should check), I cannot give her a hug or take her out for Chinese, my two standard non-sexual thank yous.

I am always surprised when people read my schizophrenic blog, even more so when they follow, like, and comment on something that I write.  Which is why awards are extremely special to me.  I don’t care what the award is, that someone would take the time to nominate me means a lot to me.  Thank you very much.

Crazy in Suburbia

I wish she lived near me, just so I could witness what she writes about, which is her life, family, music (some of which I like ), running, and the fun stuff that happens when you have a family.  She doesn’t pull any punches and is personally responsible for the words butt-shelf and punanny being (re) added to my lexicon.

Imperfectly Balanced

Several different female writers each with their own voice.  I have discovered that I like reading each one for different reasons, the topics can range from party planning to sex and a whole range of topics inbetween.

I am an Afterschool Special

A very personal blog written by a woman who has gone through good times and bad.  Her style of writing about her travels, sex, politics, and herself always catch my attention.  I enjoy reading about the places she has been, the places she wants to go, and her thoughts on her life, good and bad.

Bottledworder

I walk away from every blog thinking about what was written.  Each post is well written (much better writer than I am or will be), thought out, and thought provoking.  The questions asked, pondered, and answered are questions that a lot of people think about, but never seem to get around to working on, thankfully Bottleworder does.

Here’s the Thing

She is on a military base writing about life on the base and what she sees around her.  Entertaining, thought provoking at times, and downright enjoyable especially when she writes about something she saw that catches her attention, usually something stupid that someone does in public.

Love Sex and Marriage

She is easy to read, even when she has a blog with a lot of information, which is always a plus to me.  Want to know about sex, read her blog. Pure and simple.  Her sex writing is some of the best that I have read and when she writes about her marriage I am always amazed and entertained.
